DISASTER RISK ANALYSIS LAB
Creating probabilistic methods to make our cities more resilient
We have multiple research projects that seek to evaluate and enhance community resilience through risk analysis, systems modeling, and artificial intelligence. We will be hiring new motivated researchers to work on these projects.
Ph.D. Students
We welcome candidates with B.S. or M.S. degrees in civil engineering, earth sciences, applied statistics, and computer science. Motivated candidates with prior research experience are highly encouraged to apply. The application has to be submitted to the Ph.D. program in the Civil and Environmental Engineering Department according to the Berkeley Graduate Division's requirements and the Structural Engineering, Material, and Mechanics Program's requirements. The deadline for applications is December 11th. Students from diverse backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
